The Senior Class with an impressive grid line of 16 competitors provided plenty of action with John Mace taking the early initiative and the chequered flag in heat one. Glyn Parry a close second and Andy Allison an impressive third.

Battles in the middle order saw Mathiew Abraham come out on top of teammate Greg Coelho and gain a valuable championship point for a sixth overall finish. Also on top at one stage but not quite where he wanted to be was Yves Bastiaens, who found himself perched on top of Andrew Child's kart putting Child's on the sidelines for heat 2.

Heat three saw Bastiaens keep out of trouble, but to no avail when a tyre deflated with only a few laps to go. Child recovered in heat three to take a well-deserved third. However, the earlier DNF put him out of the points for the day.

For the Reebok cadet Class brothers Joshua and Benjamin Allison traded places with Joshua finally coming out on top. Dad Andrew competing in the senior class taking third saw the family take home first, second and third place trophies.

In the National Class Ken Waterhouse the "Hot Property" was once again in form and hungry for this year's championship. A mistake on the last corner in heat three put himself out. Michael Houkauf was denied a higher place finish due to mechanical failure on the last lap.

In the International Class the Pirelli-sponsored drivers Andy Boux and Rahul Love came out level on points after an uncharacteristic 'off' by Rahul saw him collect a number of cones and gradually dispense them around the circuit to the bemusement Graham Heath, who was following.

Andy Boux's engine let go in the last heat after setting a blistering pace and mapping out an impressive lead.

Next race day is today. Action commences at 1pm and will conclude at 5.30 with the presentation of trophies to the winning drivers and teams.
