Dubai: Radio 2 listeners have been hitting the big one since mid-October. The stations latest contest, Bunch of Fives, has put a bunch of notes into the pockets of more than 20 lucky winners.
But the truth is, luck had nothing to do with it.
In order to get their share of AED 100 000 in cash, listeners had to SMS in the name of select songs when they heard the songs play. Throughout the day, the announcement of which songs to listen out for, would be made.
Every song played is worth AED 1000. 2 songs together are worth AED 2000 and so on. But if all five songs are played together, the prize is AED 10 000. To date, 6 out of the 20 winners scored AED 10 000, with the others winning amounts from AED 1000 – 4000 in cash.
Maria Rodrigues; Primashi Hewa; Zari Jafri; Keith Nunes; Daniel Lobo and Arlene Basa were all thrilled to learn, live on air, that they had won AED 10 000 cash.
In a particularly heart-warming story, Primashi Hewa’s employee had entered the competition from Primashi’s mobile phone so she would have a chance to win. To their delight, Primashi, a young 23 year-old Sri Lankan won the AED 10 000 cash!
So, tune in right now and take your share of AED 100 000 with the Bunch of Fives competition. The competition ends on Thursday 11th and has a guaranteed AED 10 000 to be won.
