Le Meridien reports 95pc room occupancy

Le Meridien Dubai, a part of the Le Meridian Group, has reported a high 95 per cent room occupancy over the last four weeks of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2002.

The hotel is uniquely set in 38 acres of landscaped gardens, conveniently located near the commercial districts and shopping centers of Dubai and a short distance from the Dubai International Airport.

The hotel is participating in the Dubai Fun For Free Promotion of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM).

Shujaat Yaar, Director, Business Development, Le Meridien, said, "The 'Fun for Free' concept has provided great value for the visitors during DSS. Our occupancy levels have been above 95 per cent so far throughout DSS.

Le Meridien Dubai has enjoyed a noticeable increase in number of guests from GCC countries and it has reflected positively in our vast variety of restaurants located within Le Promenade and Merdien Village.

On most days we have more then 1,000 guests visiting the different restaurants in the hotel.

"Summer is usually perceived as a quite period in most Gulf countries however DSS has transformed Dubai as a vibrant & attractive destination."

To coincide with DSS, Le Meridien Dubai has a value offer of '50 per cent back' promotion during lunch at selected restaurants.

For every Dirhams 100 spent on food during lunch, 50 per cent of the value is returned back in the form of a voucher that can be redeemed either during Lunch or Dinner on any day except a Thursday night.

This special offer will be available throughout July and August.

Friday brunch has been created specially for the DSS visitor at the Antigo Restaurant with a lavish buffet that features dishes from all the restaurants of Le Meridien Dubai and entertainment for kids.

Kids can enjoy fun activities such as face painting, TV and video games and a magician or special games and much more and adults pay only Dhs98- net.
