The Jebel Ali Racecourse continues to attract strong sponsorship for it's race meets with leading companies in the UAE committing their support for this Friday's races.
Shadwell, Al Shafar Group of Companies, Al Shafar Investments, Arenco, Serveu and Ascana (Arabian Scandinavian Insurance), will sponsor the meet's six races, it was announced at a press conference yesterday.
Shareef Al Halawani, Manager, Jebel Ali Racecourse, thanked the sponsors for their support.
Halawani said that a total prize fund of Dh 64,000 had been allocated for the selection competition while more than 135 prizes and gifts will be awarded to lucky winners at the meet.
The Emirates Racing Association's Gerard Bush thanked the sponsors for working together to help racing move forward in the UAE.
Representatives of the sponsors said that they were proud to show their commitment to the sport of horse racing, and to assist in it's growth and development.
