Jashanmal beat Carrier County

Jashanmal proved too good for debutants Carrier County by nine wickets in the ECMIT Champlain College Trophy for the XIIth Sharjah floodlit cricket tournament at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

Jashanmal did well to restrict their opponents to 128 for 9 with Darshan picking up three wickets. Carrier County were in a precarious state at one stage placed at 30 for 4, but did well to reach 128 for 9 in their allotted 30 overs. One-drop Aneesh (25) and Aloysius (25) were the only ones among the runs, while Shakeel Raja did well to wrap up the tail with three wickets.
