James Bond-inspired car for Syria aid

Dubai: Proceeds from a Dubai auction of a James Bond-inspired supercar are being donated to Syrian relief efforts. An unspecified amount is being donated to the Syria Appeal by Oxfam. Dubai businessman and philanthropist Waleed Ghafari had successfully bid on the one-of-a-kind Aston Martin Vanquish during the “One Night to Change Lives” charity auction organised by Dubai Cares and Oxfam during the 2013 Dubai International Film Festival.
