Injured girl airlifted from Ras Al Khaimah to Dubai

Dubai: An injured 15-year-old girl was airlifted to Rashid Hospital from Ras Al Khaimah after she fell from a building.

Lt Col Khalfan Salem Al Mazroui, Head of the Air Rescue Department, said.

The girl, who was severely injured after falling from her public school building in Ras Al Khaimah, was transferred by Dubai Police’s Air Wing after a call to the Dubai Police’s operation room indicating she had multiple fractures and needed to be transferred to Rashid Hospital.

A helicopter was dispatched with doctors and nurses to the girl in Ras Al Khaimah and Rashid Hospital was informed to get ready to receive the girl.
