Indian Islamic scholar to give lectures

Well-known Indian Islamic scholar M.M. Akbar will deliver a lecture covering various Islamic topics at the Sharjah Indian School on Friday.

Akbar, director of Niche of Truth, will deliver a series of lectures in Malayalam. He is famous for his thought-provoking lectures on various topics.

In his speeches, he presents comparison and contrast of three religions: Islam, Christianity and Hinduism. His audience also comprises a large number of non-Muslims and new Muslims. Akbar is visiting the UAE at the invitation of Indian Islahi Centre, Sharjah.

He will also deliver a lecture at the Indian Islahi Centre in Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah on March 24 and March 30 respectively, and is to give lecture at International Indian School, Ajman, on March 21, Al Farooq International School in Abu Dhabi on March 27, UAE University in Al Ain on March 28, and Sheikh Rashid Auditorium in Dubai on March 29.
