Extending on its human resources solutions offerings for large organisations, including government departments and ministries, Business Systems House yesterday launched hr.eaZy, a state-of-the-art solution for personnel, time attendance and payroll, powered by Oracle.

"This product specifically addresses the needs of small and medium labour-intensive enterprises in the private and public sectors for an HR solution that helps lower cost, streamline operations and improve productivity," stated Houssam Hatoum, managing director.

He explained that the new product is essentially a subset of hr.base, which has been opted for by several Dubai government bodies, the latest being the Department of Health, which has over 9,000 employees. It has also been used by the army in Qatar for personnel numbering in excess of 15,000.

He added that hr.eaZy can also be upgraded to the hr.base, and can offer customers considerable customisation flexibility while not compromising on the basic technology. It has been priced at $123 per employee, with the cost inclusive of licensing and implementation.

"We are also trying to identify business partners elsewhere in the Gulf. While one for the Kuwait market has been identified, we hope to have a similar arrangement in Lebanon shortly."

Alakh Verma, business development manager, Oracle Systems Ltd, Middle East, said while his company has over 200 partners concentrating at the high end of the market, BSH is one of a handful in the region offering a packaged, shrink-wrapped, customisable product that does not compromise on the basic Oracle technology, and aimed at the SME market.
