Ras Al Khaimah: As part of its ‘healthy Ramadan initiative’, Ras Al Khaimah Hospital is providing complimentary health screening.
Keeping with the spirit of giving, the hospital is also offering a discount of Dh2,000 on delivery packages during the holy month to support mothers who are without insurance cover.
The screening, which will run until Eid Al Fitr, includes a lifestyle assessment to evaluate patients’ medical and family history, diet, fitness, stress and sleep dependency along with providing free blood sugar, body mass index and blood pressure tests. The screening will also feature health counselling to guide patients on how to manage diseases and stress, ways to quit smoking, and keeping up a healthy diet and regular exercise.
The CEO of Arabian Healthcare Group and executive director of RAK Hospital, Raza Siddiqui, said, “Through this camp, we would like to help the people in the UAE understand their health issues better so that they take corrective measures that will provide long-term benefits.
