High life in Dubai: Suites her fine
Dubai : Paris Hilton will put up in a Dh14,800-per-night presidential suite at Hotel InterContinental, Dubai Festival City (DFC) when she flies down to Dubai on a 21-day schedule beginning June 16.
But whether she'll have the luxurious suite all to herself or she'll share it with her boyfriend or parents, the hotel management is not revealing.
What they did confirm is that beau Dough Reinhardt, dad Richard and mum Kathy will be at her side when she films the Middle East version of reality TV show, Paris Hilton's My New Best BFF (Best Friend Forever)-Dubai.
The only close member not accompanying the star is her pet Chihuahua, Tinkerbell.
Paris posted pictures on Twitter of her pet pooch and the doggie mansion where he lives with 13 other spoilt canines. The mansion is a mini-version of her Beverly Hills pad with chewy Vuitton beds where the dogs rest their paws. “I love my puppies as if they were my children. They deserve to be treated like my lil' prince and princesses,'' she said in a post.
Should Paris decide to bring her pooch along, she doesn't have to worry.
The 300-square-metre-suite has enough luxuries: High-gloss Macassar ebony and linen-panelled walls lend the suite a distinct appeal, while sliding screens and walls enable guests to close off areas like the entry hall so that room service can wheel in and leave a tray without disturbing the occupants.
The highlight of the suite is an over-flow bathroom – a beautiful marble bath overlooking Dubai Creek that appears inches from the bather.
“It's the same kind of suite where Shah Rukh Khan stayed when he visited Dubai,'' said the hotel's Director of Marketing Communications Katerina Dixon.
Creative Consultant for Paris Hilton's My New BFF-Dubai, Mary Ghobrial, said the star hasn't given the hotel any instructions in terms of her culinary preferences.
