National Guard responds to 347 emergency calls in first half of 2025
Abu Dhabi – The UAE National Guard Command announced it carried out 347 rescue operations on land and at sea, both domestically and internationally, during the first half of 2025.
These missions highlight the Guard’s ongoing dedication to strengthening the nation’s emergency response system and boosting the readiness of search and rescue teams across the UAE.
According to official figures, the National Search and Rescue Center completed 218 operations, including 63 search, rescue, and medical evacuation missions, 18 domestic patient air ambulance transfers, and 13 international medical and air ambulance missions.
The Coast Guard Unit carried out 129 search and rescue operations in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman waters.
The National Guard Command stressed that these efforts demonstrate its commitment to providing efficient services during the “Year of the Community.”
Using cutting-edge technology and equipment, the teams ensure rapid intervention and safeguard lives across diverse locations and emergencies.
The public is urged to report emergencies by calling the search and rescue line at 995 or the Coast Guard emergency line at 996.
