Khalifa Foundation donates to Serbia hospital

Belgrade: The UAE’s Charge d’Affaires in Belgrade, Faisal Hareb Eisa, on Thursday handed over medical equipment donated by the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation to the general hospital in the Serbian city of Bor.

Eisa said the Foundation’s gesture was inspired by President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s vision to promote a strong UAE legacy of philanthropy. He added that the donation was also a token of friendship between the UAE and Serbia.

The hospital’s director-general, Dr Ivan Malikovic, thanked the UAE for the equipment which, he said, would give a great boost to city’s health care services.
