International surgeons to attend cases in UAE
Shaikh Khalifa Hospital in Ajman to host a number of international consultants in various fields
Dubai: The Ministry of Health will host a number of international consultants in several medical specialisations at Shaikh Khalifa Hospital in Ajman between May 6 and 20.
The hospital will receive Dr Wolfgang Arnold, ENT consultant, between May 6 and 13 as well as Thakes Paris, Endoscopic Surgeon in Imperial College, London between May 7 and 13 to provide treatment and check-up for critical cases in the same hospital. Dr Robert Paastoni, Spine Surgery Consultant in Nante Hospital, will check cases.
From May 14-20, Shaikh Khalifa Hospital in Ajman will receive Dr Ban Biron, neurology surgeon in Nante Hospital, France, who will perform surgeries for critical cases.
The overseas consultants programme provided by the Ministry of Health aims to provide international expertise to save time and effort for patients who require treatment abroad.
