Health ministry closes down six clinics
Dubai: The Health Ministry has closed down six clinics, suspended two physicians and referred a herbal therapist to court for violating rules and ethics of the profession.
The decision was taken by the Pharmaceutical Licensing Committee at the ministry at a meeting chaired by Dr Amin Al Amiri, Executive Director for the ministry's medical Affairs and Licensing Department.
The move came as a result of inspection visits carried out by the ministry's inspectors to clinics, healthcare centres, herbal drug shops and physiotherapy centres across the country to ensure their compliance with rules.
