Cardiac care conclave draws 200 doctors

Abu Dhabi: Reflecting Abu Dhabi's commitment to the early detection of heart disease, more than 200 internists, general practitioners, cardiologists, neurologists and pharmacists attended the first Abu Dhabi Cardiac and Vascular Disease Conference.

Topics discussed at the conference, which ended yesterday, included the status of cardiac disease in Asia and the Middle East, the management of cardiovascular co-morbidities, prevention of cardiovascular disease and importance of public education.
