Breast cancer centre to be set up in Sharjah

Sharjah: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, signed a cooperation agreement between the University Hospital-Sharjah, and the Institute Gustave-Roussy in France, to set up a breast cancer centre at the hospital.

The centre, which will be run as a twin to the leading European anti-cancer centre the Institute Gustave-Roussy in France, will be financed by Friends of Cancer Patients.

Shaikh Sultan thanked the French government for its support.
