4 Dubai government hospitals get new CEOs
3 out of 4 new CEOs are women; move seen boosting Dubai healthcare sector
Dubai: Four Dubai government hospitals will have new chief executive officers (CEOs) to further develop the healthcare sector of the emirate.
Three of the CEOs are women, according to a statement from the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) on Thursday.
The appointment has been approved by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.
The CEOs are: Dr Abdulrahman Mohammad Saleh Al Jassmi, CEO of Dubai Hospital; Dr. Alya Saif Al Mazrouei, CEO of Rashid Hospital; Dr Moza Ajaif Al Zaabi, CEO of Al Jalila Children’s Specialty Hospital and Dr Muna AbdulRazzaq Tahlak, CEO of Latifa Hospital.
The appointments are in line with the vision of the future needs of Dubai, said Eisa Al Maidoor, Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), in a statement.
He said the development of health services in the Emirate is of vital importance, particularly because healthcare is a fundamental service that touches the lives of everyone in Dubai.
The DHA said the new CEO’s will take charge of their office soon.
