Ignited minds 'most powerful resource on earth'
Dubai: Ignited minds of youth are the most powerful resource on earth, Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the former Indian president said, speaking to thousands of people who gathered to celebrate the tenth anniversary celebrations of Delhi Private School (DPS) Sharjah.
"Ignited mind of the youth is the most powerful resource on the earth, above the earth and under the earth. If the youth are empowered with education with value system at the young age then they are ambassadors for realising the missions of the developed India before the year 2020," he said.
India has 540 million youth below 25 years old, he added.
The by-invitation-only event held at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium was attended by thousands of spectators including senior government officials, members of the Indian diplomatic missions in the UAE, parents, faculty and prominent members of the community. He urged youngsters to have dream in life.
