Gulf Air has launched a new interactive web site for members of the Falcon Frequent Flyer (FFP) programme through which they can now access their individual membership accounts via the Internet.

The facility, which was launched on June 1 and is entitled e-FFP, will be available to FFP members via the Gulf Air website www.gulfairco.com.

"While technology can never replace personal service, we do recognise the benefits of case and availability that the Internet offers. We are confident that the roll out of the e-FFP will result in a real enhancement to the service we provide to our most valued customers," said Meher Parakh, Gulf Air's manager loyalist programmes.

To take advantage of this service and view their individual accounts, members need only register themselves on the site and set up a password for protected access. Once registered, members may then log on and access statement details.

Members also have access to information about earning opportunities through the airline and its partners, which includes Hertz Rent-a-Car, Global One, Radissson SAS Hotel and Resorts, Le Meridien Hotels, Hilton Hotels, Virgin Atlantic Airways, Oman Air, Sunshine Tours in Abu Dhabi.

American Express cards, The Commercial Bank of Qatar, CrediMax cards and Jashanmal outlet in Bahrain. Over and above these service partners, Falcon Mantra can earn and redeem Miles on newly launched products from Gulf Air Holidays.

The site enables members to keep track of their Falcon mileage redemption vouchers and their expirye dates. Member can view their personal details and current mileage balances on the web site and send in updates to their personal details such as changes in address, telephone numbers or e-mail address.

As a special promotion, to celebrate the launch of this service, Gulf Air is offering a bonus of 1,000 Falcon miles to the first 1,000 existing members of the Falcon programme who register on the website.
