Abu Dhabi: The Khawla Bint Al Azwar Military School received yesterday (Sunday) its fifth batch of women recruits. The recruits will undergo training that fits the strategic objectives of UAE National Service, which is based on strengthening national values and loyalty to the nation.

At the school, which is the first women’s military school in the region, recruits will receive lectures in various fields, including military, leadership, self-development, and both individual and collective skills.

Major General Pilot Shaikh Ahmad Bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, chairman of the National and Reserve Service Authority, said that being part of National Service will help recruits undergo new experiences that teach them patience and sacrifice.
