Abu Dhabi: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched the “Emirati Traveller Services Card,” a comprehensive, one-stop service package designed to streamline support for UAE citizens abroad. The seamless digital solution offers Emiratis overseas round-the-clock assistance, rapid emergency response, and a suite of smart travel services—ensuring their safety, convenience, and peace of mind throughout their journeys.

The initiative aligns with the ministry’s strategic policies that place Emiratis at the heart of its priorities—particularly when they are outside the country. It is supported by a fully integrated institutional framework characterised by high operational readiness, efficiency, and effective coordination.

This coordination extends between the ministry’s internal teams and the UAE’s diplomatic missions around the world, ensuring continuous care, support, and a rapid response in emergency situations

The card includes key services such as Twajudi, which enables Emirati citizens and families to register their travel details in advance, and a service for issuing return documents within just 30 minutes in case of lost, damaged, or expired passports, or for newborns returning to the UAE. Travellers also gain access to a real-time interactive travel advisory page, customised by destination, offering essential information and guidance throughout their journey.

In addition, Emiratis can contact the dedicated emergency line abroad at 0097180024. The card is available to travellers departing from Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi and Dubai International Airport during holiday seasons. It offers instant, anytime-anywhere access to services by simply scanning the attached QR code, making it a smart digital companion for Emiratis throughout their travels.
