UAE implements housing strategies for sustainability and satisfaction
Dubai: Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, reaffirmed the UAE's commitment to enhancing its housing system to support citizens and address their needs with speed and efficiency.
“In January, we approved housing grants under the Zayed Housing Program for more than 1,300 Emiratis, with a total value exceeding one billion dirhams,” Sheikh Mohammed announced on his X account. “We will increase the number of beneficiaries throughout the year to meet all requests.”
Highlighting progress in the housing sector, Sheikh Mohammed stated, “Over the past two years, 13,000 applications from citizens were processed and approved. Currently, the waiting time for approval is just two months—one of the shortest globally.”
He emphasised the importance of improving housing services to strengthen family stability by reducing waiting times and modernising systems.
“Our goal is to develop an integrated system linking all housing and financing authorities, allowing approvals to be granted within one day. Emiratis deserve the best service, the best life, and the most beautiful future.”
The UAE is implementing comprehensive strategies to strengthen its national housing system, ensuring sustainable services and enhancing citizen satisfaction.
The Zayed Housing Program plays a pivotal role in realising this vision, striving to meet the housing needs of Emirati citizens while achieving the highest standards of welfare.
