UAE and South Korea sign visa agreement

Duration of stay extended to 90 days for citizens of both countries

New York: The UAE and South Korea signed a Memorandum of Understanding extending the duration of stay to 90 days for citizens of both countries, without the need to apply for a visa in advance.

The agreement came into effect from September 21, and will apply for holders of ordinary, diplomatic or special passports.

Following the signing of the agreement, Ahmad Al Daheri, Assistant Undersecretary for Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, said that the MoU reflects the depth of relations between UAE and South Korea.
