Dubai: Dubai International Airport has welcomed a new initiative that’s turning heads and hearts. The “Ideal Face 2” booth, launched by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA), invites travelers and residents alike to celebrate good behavior, respect, and community spirit — all under the powerful theme, “This is the Dubai We Want.”
The booth, located in Terminal 3 Departures, is open daily from July 1 to 13, 2025. It offers an interactive space where visitors can learn about the values the initiative promotes, take part in creative activities, and even share stories of people whose actions reflect kindness, honesty, and respect. Visitors are also invited to make a personal pledge to uphold these values, helping to spread a culture of positive conduct.
The launch event was attended by Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai, along with Majed Al Joker, COO of Dubai Airports; Major General Obaid Muhair Bin Suroor, Deputy Director General; Essa Al Shamsi, SVP of Passenger Terminal Operations at Dubai Airports; and other senior officials. During their visit, they explored the booth’s different sections and engaged with its team.
What makes the “Ideal Face 2” booth stand out is its real human touch. Through storytelling, hands-on activities, and a warm welcome from the hosting team, the booth invites every visitor to be part of something meaningful. Those who’ve gone above and beyond in their daily lives to embody these values are recognized with a symbolic thank-you card that reads: “The Ideal Face – This is the Dubai We Want.”
Lieutenant General Al Marri highlighted that this initiative brings the UAE’s values to life — turning ideas like respect and responsibility into real, everyday actions. He said it reflects Dubai’s vision of being a global example of kindness, cooperation, and strong community bonds.
The initiative is not only about honoring good behavior — it’s also about listening. The booth was designed to create an open space for dialogue, where people can share their thoughts and hopes. It’s part of GDRFA Dubai’s broader mission to stay connected to the community and improve quality of life through responsive, people-first services.
Even if you can’t visit the booth in person, you can still take part online by visiting the initiative’s official page. There, individuals can share their own inspiring stories or make a digital pledge to support the values that help make Dubai the inclusive, respectful city it’s known to be.
