The initiative celebrates Arabs driving positive change through humanitarian work

Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has launched a new edition of the Arab Hope Makers initiative — the region’s largest platform dedicated to celebrating individuals and groups who inspire positive change through humanitarian work.
Launched under the umbrella of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, the programme honours people who dedicate their efforts to helping others and making their communities better. It seeks to identify and support inspiring stories from across the Arab world — from volunteers and educators to healthcare workers and social innovators.
Sheikh Mohammed emphasised that hope is the most powerful force for driving progress and unity in the Arab world. He said that the initiative aims to reinforce values of compassion, optimism and community service, turning individual efforts into wider movements for good.
Registrations for this edition are now open to individuals and organisations across the Arab region. Nominees will be evaluated based on their social impact, innovation, and sustainability. The top finalists will be honoured at a grand ceremony in Dubai, where the Arab Hope Maker of the Year will receive Dh1 million to support their humanitarian initiative.
