Roads and Transport Authority urges motorists to use alternative roads

Dubai: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) on Sunday cautions motorists of traffic delays on some Dubai streets due to the Arab Hope Makers event taking place in the evening.
Taking to social media, RTA said delays are expected on Al Badaa’ Street and Al Safa Street.
The congestion coincides with the closing ceremony of the Arab Hope Makers initiative at Coca-Cola Arena.
Motorists are advised to plan their routes in advance and use alternative roads, such as Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Wasl Road, to ensure a smoother travel experience.
Who all are coming?
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, will honour the winners of the fifth edition of the “Arab Hope Makers” initiative.
Doors open at 4pm for the event, which recognises exceptional individuals in the Arab world who have made significant contributions through their acts of giving and service to their communities. It will feature a financial reward of Dh1million for the winner.
Before the announcement of the top Arab Hope Maker, the audience at Coca-Cola Arena will be treated to a special musical performance, featuring renowned Arab artists including Hamood Al Khuder, Walid Al Shami, Balqees, and Omar Al Abdallat. Additionally, international music producer RedOne will also take the stage, bringing a global touch to the event.
Since its inception in 2017, the “Arab Hope Makers” initiative has received over 320,000 nominations. Under the umbrella of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation, the initiative aims to celebrate individuals across the Arab world who dedicate themselves to helping others, including through charitable work, disaster relief, and programs that improve the quality of life for those in need.
