The two leaders reaffirmed strong UAE-Russia ties and discussed ways to boost cooperation
Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, met with Russian President Vladimir Putin today on the sidelines of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting in Minsk, Belarus.
At the start of the meeting, Sheikh Khaled conveyed the greetings of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to President Putin, along with best wishes for his health and for the continued prosperity of Russia and its people.
In response, President Putin extended his sincere greetings to the President of the UAE, wishing the country and its people lasting success and development.
The two leaders discussed the long-standing friendship and strategic partnership between the United Arab Emirates and the Russian Federation, reaffirming their commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties.
They also exchanged views on a range of regional and international issues of mutual interest, and reviewed key topics on the Eurasian Economic Council’s agenda. Their discussions included the importance of advancing sustainable development goals to promote global prosperity and well-being.
