Sheikh Hamdan appoints new CEO of Dubai Health Insurance Corporation

Dubai: Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, has appointed Asma Abdullah Saad Al Sherif as the Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai Health Insurance Corporation.

The appointment was made through Executive Council Resolution No. (36) of 2025, issued in Sheikh Hamdan’s capacity as Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai. According to the resolution, the decision takes effect from the date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.

Al Sherif will lead the Dubai Health Insurance Corporation, which is affiliated with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).

The corporation is responsible for managing and supervising health insurance in Dubai.
