Shawwal crescent moon-sighting committee meets on Wednesday

Abu Dhabi: Dr Hadef Jua’an Al Daheri, Minister of Justice, has issued a resolution setting up the moon-sighting committee for the Month of Shawwal, Hijri 1434.
The committee, chaired by Dr Al Daheri, includes Sultan Saeed Al Badi, Undersecretary of Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, along with a number of officials.
The resolution called on all the Sharia Courts nationwide to detect the crescent moon and inform the committee.
The committee will hold the meeting after Maghreb prayer on Ramadan 29, corresponding to Wednesday, August 7, at the Judiciary Department in Abu Dhabi.
