Sharjah: The Sharjah Executive Council approved the licensing of the activity for selling food through trucks in the emirate.

The approval came during a council meeting chaired by Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the council. Shaikh Abdullah Bin Salem Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the council, was present.

The activity of selling food through trucks requires meeting a number of health, environment and administrative terms and conditions, clarified Sultan Bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, chairman of the Sharjah Department for Economic Development. He said that these terms and conditions would ensure that the highest quality of food is being provided, in addition to offering a number of features and incentives that support entrepreneurs and develops the flow of trade and economy.

Al Suwaidi said that Sharjah is witnessing a large turnout in trade activities, which proves that the emirate offers an economic and investment environment that attracts entrepreneurs and encourages diversity in trade activities.
