Sharjah: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, yesterday received a delegation from the Sharjah Museums Authority at the Ruler’s Office.
Dr Shaikh Sultan praised the efforts being made by the Sharjah Museums Authority to present the heritage and history of the Arab and Islamic region in general and Sharjah in particular through more than 16 museums that it oversees.
During the meeting, the Ruler of Sharjah stressed the importance of intensifying the Authority’s efforts in the service of museum visitors who include students of schools, institutes, universities besides citizens, residents and tourists, adding that all necessary material and media support will be provided for further development and promotion of museums.
