Sharjah: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, yesterday received at Al Badea Palace condolences from shaikhs and senior officials who offered their heartfelt condolences on the death of Shaikha Alia Bint Mohammad Bin Saqr Al Qasimi.
Shaikh Abdullah Bin Salem Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and the son of Shaikha Alia, received condolences alongside Dr Shaikh Sultan.
Dr Shaikh Sultan and Shaikh Abdullah received condolences from Shaikh Mohammad Bin Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, Shaikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, and Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance.
Also offering condolences were Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth, and Community Development; Humaid Bin Mohammad Al Qutami, Minister of Education; Abdul Rahman Mohammad Al Owais, Minister of Health; Saqr Gobash, Minister of Labour; Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy; Tamer Mansour, Egypt’s Ambassador to the UAE; Mohammad Reza Fayad, Iran’s Ambassador to the UAE; Juma Al Majid, and other shaikhs and senior officials.
Shaikh Sultan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President’s Representative, sent a cable of condolences to Dr Shaikh Sultan and Shaikh Abdullah.
