Sharjah Ruler appoints Sharjah media head

Sharjah: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Thursday issued an Emiri Decree appointing Dr Khalid Omar Al Midfa as director general of Sharjah Media Corporation.

Prior to his appointment as director general, Al Midfa served as director of Sharjah TV.

The resolution comes into effect from the date of its issuance and is to be published in the official gazette.
