Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, on Wednesday reviewed the vision of the Mohammad Bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development at the Executive Office.

He highlighted importance of creating young Emirati leaders capable of making the future of the UAE and wider world in various domains.

“Our youth are our wealth and the future leaders. We equip them with science and wisdom and expand their knowledge and minds with innovative training and skills to enable them to develop forward-thinking visions for the future of the UAE and the entire world,” Shaikh Mohammad said.

He added: “I have familiarised myself with the centre’s new vision, which reflects the UAE’s culture and vision in making and designing the future and creating innovative minds and leaders who are able to face all the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and enabling the UAE to achieve its centennial vision 2071.”

Shaikh Mohammad underlined that the UAE centennial plan aims to ensure that the future Emirati generations will live a happier life within a better environment and can have greater opportunities and stronger and more influential communication with the world.

“We strive to ensure that our youths can achieve their country’s development plans and support the Hope Probe project to Mars. This can be achieved by the development of pioneering and globally recognised leaders in all sectors through development programmes implemented in collaboration with the best global partners,” Shaikh Mohammad said.

Shaikh Maktoum Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs and the Future, and Dr. Sultan Ahmad Al Jaber, Minister of State, were present.
