Ras Al Khaimah: Shaikh Mohammad Bin Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, on Thursday completed registration procedures to join the national service at Rahmania Camp in Sharjah.

Shaikh Mohammad pointed out that he falls within the age category called upon by the National Service and Reserves Authority to join, and added that the military service law applies to everyone.

He praised the mandatory national service law issued by President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, which works towards the interests of defending the nation and always being prepared to protect its security and stability.

“National service is a badge of honour for Emiratis. It is a sacred duty towards a nation that spared no effort in ensuring the wellbeing and stability of its people under the wise leadership of Shaikh Khalifa, which made the UAE a country of civilisational and urban achievements and at the forefront of countries around the world for human development,” Shaikh Mohammad said.

He emphasised that the law consolidates values of loyalty, dedication and sacrifice for the country in order to protect the nation’s achievements, security, stability and development.
