Prophet Mohammad's birthday on Friday

Event falls on official holiday and would not be compensated

Abu Dhabi: Humaid Mohammad Al Qutami, Minister of Education, Chairman of Board of Directors of the Federal Authority for Human Resources, on Tuesday issued a circular to all Federal Ministries and Institutions on the occasion of Milad Al Nabi, the birthday of Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon him), which falls on Friday, saying that this event falls on an official holiday and therefore would not be compensated according to the decree No. 17 of 2009, issued by the Cabinet.

He offered greetings to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Supreme Council Members, residents and Muslim countries all over the world on the occasion.
