President sets up board for federal authority
Khalifa sets up board for Federal Authority for Identity and Naturalisation
Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan issued on Monday a federal decree setting up the board for the Federal Authority for Identity and Naturalisation.
Federal Decree No. 117 of 2017 named Ali Mohammad Bin Hammad Al Shamsi as chairman of the board, while Talal Humaid Bel Houl will serve as deputy chairman.
Other board members will include representatives from the ministries of Presidential Affairs, Interior, Cabinet Affairs and Future, as well as the UAE State Security, and General Authority of Ports, Borders and Free Zones (Manafth).
The decree, which will be published in the official gazette, states that members will have renewable tenure of three years.
