Dubai: The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has announced it will officially launch the “Senior Citizens Council” in early November to provide its services to retired Emiratis who worked for the ministry.
The Ministry’s move comes in line with the national policy for senior citizen recently launched by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The Council will provide a host of services to senior citizens of retirees, including providing a special reception hall equipped with all amenities and offering incentives and discounts in cooperation with the relevant institutions as well as launching entertainment and social programmes during the year.
