Abu Dhabi: Three hundred and eighty-five Ministry of Interior employees and their families have been sent to Umra by General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on a special airplane.
Shaikh Mohammad's generous gesture was followed up by Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
The umra delegation has been received by Ahmad Mohammad Manqoush, UAE Consul in Saudi Arabia, in Jeddah.
Brigadier Hamad Adiel Al Shamsi, the head of the permanent committee for Haj and Umra in the Ministry of Interior, said that this gesture reflects the care of both Shaikh Mohammad and Shaikh Saif for the ministry's employees, to enable them to carry out their religious and spiritual duties with their families.
