Mohammad receives Canadian defence minister
Mohammad Bin Zayed holds talks with Sajjan on bilateral ties
Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Monday received Harjit Sajjan, Canadian Minister of National Defence.
They discussed ties of friendship and cooperation between the UAE and Canada and ways to develop them in the best interests of both nations and peoples.
Shaikh Mohammad and Sajjan reviewed a number of issues related to military and defence affairs and exchanged views on matters of common interest and latest developments in the region. The talks also touched on efforts by the two countries to achieve peace and stability in the region.
The meeting was attended by Shaikh Tahnoun Bin Mohammad Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain, Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, other Shaikhs and senior officials.
