Mohammad receives Archbishop of Jerusalem

Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received Atallah Hanna, Archbishop of Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem, on Monday.

Shaikh Mohammad welcomed the Archbishop to the UAE and discussed a number of issues of common interest, especially those related to entrenching the principles of tolerance, love and peace among peoples in the region and the need to reject violence, extremism and terrorism.

Shaikh Mohammad underlined the fact that the UAE has been embracing an approach of tolerance, peace, respect and coexistence of religions. The UAE always seeks peace and supports efforts that promote stability in the region and the world, he said.
