Abu Dhabi: General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received today at Al Mamoura, General Ahmad Salah Gaid, Deputy Minister of National Defence and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (ANP) in Algeria.
Shaikh Mohammad and General Gaid discussed ways of enhancing bilateral ties and reviewed aspects of joint cooperation and their role in serving mutual interests in several sectors including defence.
The two sides also exchanged views on a variety of Arab, regional and international events of mutual concern.
The meeting was attended by Lt Gen Hamad Mohammad Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, and Mohammad Mubarak Al Mazroui, Undersecretary of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court.
