UAE Vice-President thanks outgoing ministers following a Cabinet reshuffle

Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, thanked outgoing ministers in a series of tweets on Thursday.

Shaikha Lubna Al Qasimi, Minister of Tolerance

The outgoing ministers are Saqr Gobash Saeed Gobash, Minister of Emiratisation and Human Resources, Shaikha Lubna Al Qasimi, Minister of Tolerance, Dr Rashid Bin Fahd, Minister of State, Najla Mohammad Al Awar, Minister of Community Development and Abdullah Al Basti, Secretary-General of the UAE Cabinet.

“I would like to extend my personal thanks and gratitude to Saqr Gobash, who dedicated four decades of his life to serve the nation with diligence and dedication. You have the gratitude of all Emiratis, Saqr,” tweeted Shaikh Mohammad.

“My thanks to a sister and friend, Shaikha Lubna Al Qasimi. Shaikha Lubna elevated the status of the UAE in various avenues, and she represented Arab women in the best possible way. You have my utmost appreciation,” he added.

Najla Mohammad Al Awar, Minister of Community development

“I would also like to thank Dr Rashid Bin Fahd and Najla Al Awar for their service during the past period. Thank you to Abdullah Al Basti, Secretary-General of the UAE Cabinet. Abdullah is a member of my work team and I trust him, and a huge task awaits him in the emirate of Dubai,” tweeted Shaikh Mohammad.

“The new government is a transit to the new UAE Centennial. Its goal is to develop knowledge, support science and research, and to get youth involved in leading the UAE’s journey,” he added.
