Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, yesterday attended the graduation ceremony of the 22nd batch of the Joint Command and Staff College in Abu Dhabi.

The ceremony, held at the college’s campus, was attended by Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Shaikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser; Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development; and a number of other shaikhs, ministers, senior officials, top police and army officers, Arab and foreign diplomats and military attaches accredited to the UAE.

Shaikh Mohammad distributed certificates to 103 graduates, including 10 from sisterly and friendly countries. He then congratulated the graduates, wishing them further progress in their military career. He also urged them to gain the world’s latest defence knowledge and systems so as to better serve their nation.
