Held under the patronage of Lt-General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, the forum’s theme is ‘Efforts and Protection’. The forum aims to highlight the Ministry of Interior and Police General Command’s efforts in strengthening human and institutional capacities in the human rights protection field, and to strengthen partnerships with authorities concerned across the UAE. It seeks to present ideas and actions that can contribute to the development of human rights protection strategies, while also consolidating policing and security efforts to achieve human rights objectives at the ministry.
