Joint Operations Command accords recognition to Gallant Knight 3 participants
Abu Dhabi: The Joint Operations Command, overseeing the “Gallant Knight” operation, honoured its partners, media institutions, and charitable organisations that were part of the “Gallant Knight 3” relief initiative for the people of Gaza.
The initiative was launched under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, to support Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
Gulf News was among the media institutions recognised for their contributions and coverage of the Gaza crisis.
Gulf News Abu Dhabi Bureau Chief Abdulla Rasheed received a certificate of appreciation from a representative of the Joint Operations Command during a ceremony held at the Armed Forces Officers Club in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday evening.
The recognition coincided with Zayed Humanitarian Day, reflecting gratitude for the role played by media institutions and charitable organisations in supporting relief operations and assisting those in need.
