General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, UAE Defence Minister and Head of Dubai Police and Security, has ordered the promotion of 2,034 military officers and 369 civilian officers of Dubai Police.
Lieutenant-General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Chief of Dubai Police, said the promotions included four officers who were promoted from the rank of colonel to brigadier.
The officers are Ahmad Mohammad Thani Hareb, Abdul Jalil Mahdi Mohammad, Mohammad Saeed Mohammad Al Merri and Eisa Aman Obaid.
Fifteen other officers were promoted from Lieutenant-Colonel to Colonel. The officers included: Abdullah Hamad Al Shehi, Ahmad Khalifa Ahmad Hamad, Dr Mohammad Abdullah Sulaiman, Obaid Mehair Obaid, Juma Mohammad Al Shaikh Juma, Khalil Ebrahim Mohammad, and Abdullah Ali Al Gaithy.
