Emirati is Interpol Foundation global ambassador

Abu Dhabi: The UAE ambassador to Lebanon, Hamad Saeed Al Shamsi, has been appointed as a global ambassador to the Interpol Foundation, it was announced yesterday.

The appointment decision has been approved during the foundation’s board meeting which was held on the sidelines of the Security Cooperation Forum, under the chairmanship of Elias Michel Murr, chairman of the Foundation, in the presence of Jurgen Stock, Interpol’s secretary-general.

Al Shamsi is the first to be appointed in the newly introduced position thanks to his broad experience at various levels.
