Announcement came during his visit to Naif Police Station as part of an annual inspection
Major General Hareb Muhammad Al Shamsi, Acting Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, has announced plans to enhance the operational performance of 13 police stations across the emirate. The initiative is aimed at leveraging available resources and technologies to provide seamless, high-quality services in both criminal and traffic-related matters.
The announcement came during his visit to Naif Police Station as part of the annual inspection programme of police stations and departments. Accompanying him were Major General Dr Tariq Tahlak from Naif Police Station, Expert Major General Dr Muhammad Issa Al Adhab, Chairman of the Police Stations Directors Council and Director of Dubai Mounted Police Station, Brigadier Omar Mousa Ashour, Deputy Director of Naif Police Station, Colonel Ahmad Al Muhairi, Acting Director of the Department of Inspection, Committees and Task Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Dr Abdul Razzaq Abdul Rahim, Head of the Inspection Section, alongside other officers and members of the General Inspection Team.
Al Shamsi highlighted the strategic importance of Naif as one of Dubai’s busiest commercial districts, housing a concentration of banks, exchange houses, retail outlets, hotels, and iconic markets like the Gold Souk and Souq Murshid. He stressed the importance of deploying every available capability to deliver exceptional services that meet public expectations and align with the government’s vision.
He praised the professionalism and dedication of the Naif Police Station team across all departments—criminal, traffic, and administrative—and commended their commitment to maintaining security and public confidence.
During his visit, Al Shamsi reviewed the station’s strategic performance indicators and the outcomes of various initiatives implemented in 2024. These included awareness campaigns, security and traffic programmes, and collaborative efforts that delivered impressive results aligned with global standards.
He also examined the station’s coordination with other police units and departments, noting its integral role in building partnerships with both public and private sector organisations within the Naif area. He stressed the value of collaboration and teamwork in achieving shared objectives that benefit the wider community.
Al Shamsi toured the station’s facilities, inspecting vehicles, equipment, and key service areas such as the Customer Happiness Centre, Criminal and Traffic Registration Units, General Duty Office, and Administrative Affairs. He also met with staff members of various ranks.
Al Shamsi also thanked all teams at Naif Police Station for their outstanding contributions to public safety, community engagement, and the provision of services that reflect the leadership and excellence of Dubai Police.
